The College’s District Board of Trustees will vote on the fee changes at the Tuesday, June 16, 2026, meeting set for 5:30 p.m. on the Pensacola campus. If approved by the Board of Trustees, the new fees will take effect for the Fall 2026 Semester.

Full Cost of Instruction Fee
Pensacola State College announces a proposed Full Cost of Instruction Fee cost update for students. PSC administrators recommend a $290 Full Cost of Instruction Fee for both Bachelor and Credit programs. This fee is charged to students on their third or more attempt at the same course. The proposed Full Cost of Instruction Fee averages the cost of upper-level and lower-level credit courses that had systemwide average costs of $290 each during the 2024–2025 fiscal year.

Allied Health

  • ATE 1110L – Animal Anatomy and Physiology
    Lab Lab fee increases to $87 from $62.
    Reason: Increased cost of supplies.
  • ATE 1650C – Introduction to Clinical Procedures
    Lab fee increases to $272 from $252.
    Reason: Increased cost of supplies.
  • ATE 2634L – Small Animal Clinical Procedures II
    Lab fee increases to $460 from $316.
    Reason: Increased cost of supplies.
  • DEA 1806L – Clinical Practice I
    Lab New lab fee established at $50.
    Reason: New course—establishing lab fee.
  • DES 2832C – Expanded Functions I
    New lab fee established at $152.
    Reason: New course—establishing lab fee.
  • DEH 1002L – Dental Hygiene Pre-Clinic
    Lab fee increases to $771 from $256.
    Reason: Increased cost of supplies. Some materials currently purchased externally by students will be incorporated into the lab fee. The College can purchase these items in quantity, without sales tax, reducing overall student cost.
  • DES 1200C – Dental Radiology
    Lab fee increases to $174 from $135.
    Reason: Increased cost of supplies.
  • MEA 0540C – EKG Aide
    Lab fee increases to $30 from $15.
    Reason: Increased cost of supplies.
  • PTN 1122C – Therapeutic Agents II
    Lab fee increases to $78 from $50.
    Reason: Increased cost of supplies.
  • PTN 1131L – Applied Pharmacy Practice Lab
    Lab fee increases to $183 from $50.
    Reason: Increased cost of supplies.
  • PTN 1940L – Pharmacy Practicum I
    Lab fee increases to $169 from $50.
    Reason: Required externship is no longer available via DVD. Individual student access codes must be purchased.
  • RTE 1503C – Radiographic Positioning I
    New lab fee established at $252.
    Reason: Increased cost of supplies. Some materials currently purchased externally by students will be incorporated into the lab fee. The College can purchase these items in quantity, without sales tax, reducing overall student cost.
  • RTE 1804L – Radiography Clinic I
    Lab fee increases to $360 from $262.
    Reason: Increased cost of supplies and addition of digital clinical tracking.
  • RTE 2844L – Radiography Clinic IV
    Lab fee increases to $57 from $48.
    Reason: Additional fees for CastleBranch services.


Humanities and Social Sciences

  • HSC 2400 – First Aid and Injuries Lab fee increases to $40 from $38. Reason: Red Cross price increase.


Mathematics and Computer Science

  • CET 1588 – Network+
    Lab fee and course distance learning fee both decrease to $189 from $217.
    Reason: Update Lab/DL fees to pay for industry standard certification vouchers provided to students.
  • CGS 1061C – Intro to Computers in Technology
    Lab fee and course distance learning fee both increase to $103 from $69.
    Reason: Update Lab/DL fees to pay for industry standard certification vouchers provided to students.
  • CIS 2222C – Penetration Testing
    Lab fee and course distance learning fee both to be created at $276.
    Reason: New course—Lab/DL fees support industry standard CompTIA certification vouchers.
  • CNT 3411 – Security Operations
    Lab fee and course distance learning fee both decreases to $0 from $300.
    Reason: Lab fee no longer needed as the certification is no longer offered; distance learning fees remain applicable for online sections.
  • CNT 3421 – Securing the Cloud
    Lab fee and course distance learning fee both decrease to $189 from $217.
    Reason: Update Lab/DL fees to support industry standard certification vouchers.
  • CTS 1138C – PC Hardware and Operating Systems (A+)
    Lab fee and course distance learning fee both decrease to $122 from $147.
    Reason: Update Lab/DL fees to support industry standard certification vouchers.
  • CTS 2106C – Linux+
    Lab fee and course distance learning fee both decrease to $189 from $217. Reason: Update Lab/DL fees to support industry standard certification vouchers.

    Reason: Course is offered fully online; no materials are required.
